Mum and Dad went on holiday to North Wales with friends early in May. They had a good time. When they got home, Mum felt very tired and developed a swelling in her neck. She didn't like to make a fuss so just rested at home. About a week later she agreed to see the GP. Some blood tests were taken and the results were such that she was referred for further investigation to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness in June. She was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in June and started chemotherapy, determined to beat it. She was a very brave lady and endured a lot but God called her home on Friday, 28th July, 1995 at about 9.30 am. She was 58.
